Kathy’s career has spanned more than 20 years in the travel & meeting planning industry. Early in her career, Kathy excelled as a group air coordinator and meeting planner before progressing into account management and logistical operations management positions at the former Rosenbluth International.

In August of 1994, Kathy, together with business partner Scott Gray, launched the company now known as Gray Consulting International Meetings & Incentives (www.gcimi.com) headquartered in Philadelphia. Leveraging their combined expertise in the areas of travel & hotels, meetings management, customer service, empowered work teams and operational processes, the partners have grown GCI from a two-person, home-based business to a multi-million dollar enterprise.

At GCI, Sales & Marketing and Meeting Operations report to Kathy. She drives the company’s vision of growth by expanding the customer base while adhering to the company’s operational mission to exceed the customer’s expectations of value and service in meetings and event management.

Kathy earned the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University, graduating Cum Laude. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, and Professional Meeting and Convention Association (PCMA). Kathy has served as an officer and board member for the Greater Philadelphia PCMA chapter. She participates in a variety of industry advisory boards and is also currently serving as a Board Member for The National Adoption Center, based in Philadelphia

After his 1982 graduation from Southeastern Academy of Travel & Tourism in Kissimmee, Florida, Scott began his career in the travel industry. His more than 25 years of experience in the meeting planning industry includes operational and management positions at the former Rosenbluth International and the former McGettigan Corporate Planning Services.

In August of 1994, Scott, together with business partner Kathy Murphy, launched the company now known as Gray Consulting International Meetings & Incentives (www.gcimi.com) headquartered in Philadelphia. Leveraging their combined expertise in the areas of travel & hotels, meetings management, customer service, empowered work teams and operational processes, the partners have grown GCI from a two-person, home-based business to a multi-million dollar enterprise.

Scott leads the departments that support GCI’s meeting operations: Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology. His particular focus is the application of trends in technology to optimize GCI’s efficiency and productivity, thus, providing the best possible business solutions to GCI’s customers. Scott has also played an integral role in developing the firm’s customer base and continues to interact with current and potential customers.

Scott is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and earned the designation of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 1991. His expertise and reputation within the hospitality industry has led to his participation in a variety of industry advisory boards including some of the most well-known and respected hotel chains.
