"The meeting was a great success and I received very positive feedback from both internal and external attendees. The planning of the meeting was well organized and although met with a few very last-minute requests, you came through and executed a great event. Additionally, all logistical planning/management and onsite support was well-executed and greatly appreciated. I have always gauged the success of my meetings on two things: 1) the appearance that it is effortless and 2) I am not panicked about anything. Congratulations on meeting both of these objectives.

"Hi Scott, Thank you so much for the book, Maestro. I’ve read Ben Zander’s book which links his experience teaching music and conducting the Boston Philharmonic to lessons in leadership, and I look forward to reading this one.
It seems to me apropos that you are part of our unprecedented event to focus on leadership in R&D. We talk about the concept of “shadow of the leader” – how the behavior of an organization mirrors the behavior of the leader. My experience is that your whole organization reflects your care and attention to excellence in service and support. In all the years that I have worked with you and your team (since my first conference in 1998, I think), I have never had a single sub-optimal GCI experience.
I don’t think I could have tested your ability to respond with incredible efficacy any more than I did in February, when we cancelled the meeting. Second to that would be now, actually delivering this meeting. Which has been, as usual, closer to perfection than I could really reasonably expect – given 2700 people from around the globe, 4 hotels, a convention center, 10 chartered jets and all the moving parts.
So it’s one big compliment to say I always feel safe in partnering with you for critical delivery, large or small. It’s one more (or I hope you see it as a compliment) to say that if I ever retire from what I’m doing, I could imagine coming to work with you – it would be fun to be part of a team that always delivers excellence to the customer (no matter what challenges and chaos may be going on ‘behind the curtain!’).

"GCI were a fantastic team to work with. No request was too much trouble. Their hard work and attention to detail certainly made the summit the success it was. I found it a real pleasure working with them and they certainly made my life as the summit project manager much easier.
To top it off, Gray have given us cost savings, allowing us to come in well under the original budget. I would most certainly recommend Gray."
